The PMC Board of Directors acts as an authority within Placid Mercantile Consortium each member of the alliance has a Speaker and each Speaker serves a term as the Chair.

Neutral parties may occasionally be invited to join as Mediator's this can be done when the Speakers stand at an equal number.

Any Mediator's appointment must be made only on a unanimous vote from the Speaker's and a Mediator's appointment can only be ended by a majority vote of the board where the minority is formed only of abstentions the Mediator in question can only abstain from such a vote they are not empowered to object.

A Speaker can only be removed by personal choice or on the exit of their corporation from the consortium in such a circumstance they would be removed without ceremony whether the split be amicable or otherwise.
